01Who we are

Proplytics (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the developer of the Proplytics iOS application, bundle identifier com.proplytics.app. This policy explains what personal data we process when you use the app, and your rights over that data.

02What we collect

We collect only what the app needs to function. Concretely:

We do not collect your prop firm login credentials, brokerage data, trade-level positions, location, contacts, or advertising identifiers.

03How we use it

• To run the app — calculate your true net P/L, ROI and analytics from the entries you log.
• To authenticate you — create your account, sign you in, and verify your email address via a one-time link.
• To sync & back up — keep your ledger consistent across your devices and recoverable if you lose your phone.
• To manage your subscription — unlock Pro features during your trial and paid period.
• To keep it working — diagnose crashes and improve performance.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or training third-party models.

04Legal basis (GDPR)

Where the UK/EU GDPR applies, we process your data on these bases:

• Performance of a contract — to provide the app and the features you signed up for.
• Legitimate interests — to keep the service secure, stable and fraud-free, balanced against your rights.
• Consent — where we ask for it explicitly; you can withdraw it at any time.

05Who we share with

We share data only with the service providers that make the app run, and only as needed:

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users. If Proplytics is ever involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction — we'll notify you before it happens and this policy will continue to apply.

06Subscriptions & payments

Proplytics offers auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and yearly) purchased through Apple's App Store. All payment transactions are processed exclusively by Apple and are subject to Apple's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We never see, collect or store your payment card details or billing information.

When you make a purchase, Apple provides us with a receipt and transaction identifier that confirms your subscription status. We use this solely to unlock paid features in the app, via our subscription processor RevenueCat.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time on your iPhone under Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current billing period.

07Storage & security

Your account and ledger are stored on managed cloud infrastructure operated by our processor and protected in transit and at rest with industry-standard encryption. Access is restricted to what's required to operate the service.

No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and we keep the amount of data we hold deliberately small.

08Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your ledger and account data from our active systems, except where we're required to retain limited records for legal, tax or fraud-prevention purposes. Backups are cycled out on a rolling basis.

As maximum retention periods: account data is removed within 24 months of account closure, and support correspondence, usage statistics and server logs are kept for at most 24 months. We may retain data beyond these periods only where required by law, for legal claims, or due to technical backup limitations.

09Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate data;
• Delete your account and data;
• Export your ledger in a portable format;
• Object to or restrict certain processing;
• Withdraw consent where processing relies on it.

To exercise any of these, email info@selmissconsulting.nl. You can also delete your account directly in the app at any time.

10Children

Proplytics is a financial tool intended for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we'll remove it.

11Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Proplytics after a change means you accept the updated policy.
